Passion pink nail polish can make your feet look dazzling, but it can also drive you mad if it spills onto a wooden floor.Liquid enamel dries quickly, leaving a difficult, colorful stain to soften before starting the cleaning process.Because hardwood floor has a porous surface, you should use a liquid stain remover sparingly to avoid damaging the finish.Eliminate those horrible stains from your wooden floor and keep the polish where it should be, on your nails.
Step 1 - Use Hot wet Cloth
Dampen a cloth with hot water and drain excess liquid.Fold it in a small square and let it act on the enamel spill on the wood floor for five minutes.Heat and liquid soften the nail polish.
Step 2 - Put Plastic Spatula
Remove the cloth.Put a plastic spatula on one end of the enamel.Lightly scrape the wood, removing as much enamel as possible.Avoid applying pressure with the spatula and keep it flush with the wooden floor.
Step 3 - Apply Mineral Spirits
Dampen a paper towel with a teaspoon of mineral spirits to remove any remaining enamel.Apply without rubbing on the stain.
Step 4 - Use some Acetone-free nail polish remover
Dampen a clean paper towel with acetone-free nail polish remover and apply gently to the stain if you couldn't completely remove it with the mineral spirits.
